Probate
Coping with the death of a loved one or a close friend imposes great strains on you and on your family. But at the same time the Executor who is often a close relative or friend has to start complying with the provisions of the Will.
If there is no Will the burden can be even greater. The closest surviving relatives will be responsible for sorting out the estate and then sharing it out in accordance with the Administration of Estates Act 1925.
